I am an assistant professor of English at the University of New Haven, where I teach professional and technical writing as well as a variety of upper-division special topics courses, such as Writing for Digital Environments and Freelance Writing. My research specializations include multimodal composing and digital scholarship. At UNH, I am also the director of Writing Across the Curriculum, a role that allows me to offer professional development workshops to faculty across disciplines related to writing pedagogy. Over the past year, I also took on the position of Assistant Dean for the College of Arts & Sciences; in this position, I coordinate teaching circles, prepare and execute presentations to promote the college, plan events, and participate in job searches and interviews.
I have nine years of experience writing and editing for a variety of corporations—my most recent work being as Editor in Chief for the artificial intelligence technology startup, 30SecondsToFly. Check out our newsroom, where we write about technology and corporate travel!
